Working during COVID-19

What
happened?

The current circumstances due to Covid-19 also impacted Maastricht Student Consulting
significantly in the project work. The physical distance was particularly challenging. Mainly
because in project work, MSC places great value not only on excellent work but also on its
fun factor and interpersonal aspects. Nevertheless, our consultants accepted these
challenges to be able to offer our customers as well as our individual members enjoyable,
productive, and successful work.

MSC was able to react quickly to the given circumstances and switched teamwork and all
upcoming meetings to an online format. Individual project leaders tackle bridging the
physical distance within their virtual meetings in different ways. However, a common
approach is evident in the importance of clear communication. Especially at the beginning of
this change, it was essential to communicate that our work should not be left behind. All
projects, internally as well as externally, are continued according to plan. Our team mastered
these challenges well and was able to complete two internal projects in this format.
Moreover, two external and three internal projects are currently underway, with a prospect of
success and more than satisfactory completion.

Above all, we owe this achievement to our unique community at MSC, in which we develop
and grow together and support each other where it is needed.
